Prison Talk - Changes to Louisiana ID cards for newly released

SB354 passed & is law as of August 1,2020. The bill says that now

"In compliance with the requirements of R.S. 15:827 (A)(5), the department shall identify a transition specialist at each of the state correctional facilities who shall not necessarily be a corrections officer and whose duties shall include but not be limited to : Furnishing a photo identification card to an offender prior to his release. The identification card issued to the offender shall include a list of all licensing and certification programs completed by the offender while incarcerated."
The original ID cards didn't list the training & certifications. Now the ID cards will have that info listed on the back as sort of a mini resume of skills.
