my brother-in-law has been convicted of armed criminal action and first degree assault after being involved in an accident. we went to trial and it was all a joke 3 witnesses got on the stand and lied and it was very obvious they were lying but since he is a prior and persistant offender he was convicted to 2 30 year sentences. i need any help i can get on where to look for information on trying to get him out of this. he has filed for appeal but it doesn't look good.
any help or input or if you would like more details on this PM me
(*email address removed per PTO policy*)

If he is innocent of the crime you can contact Project Innocent in the state that you live in..........

sisterinlaw- Welcome to PTO Siblings Forum. I am very sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. You will probably get more answers to your questions if you ask in the State (Forum) in which he was convicted.

That organizations doesn't help everyone, only those who have exhausted all other avenues and there must be DNA evidence in the case! If DNA isn't involved, then you can't ask them for help.

On my brothers trial they never used the DNA to prove his blood wasnt on the weapon, they did show that there was blood from the other guys who were also involved in the crime. He had a real bad lawyer and he didnt want to seem to help my brother and all he cared about was the money.
