With no previous criminal history and being 19, you'd probably get a suspended sentence and pay any victims compo if found guilty. The sticking point is the assault. The judge will take a dim view on physical harm, so it depends on the circumstances of the assault.

Cannot give you any information you wanted, sorry, but I wanted to welcome you to PTO. It is a wonderful place full of kind, generous and knowledgeable people who will do their utmost to help and support you when they can.
Good luck with the sentencing...I hope it is as light and fair as possible.

I take it that you are still in magistrates court, or are you waiting on a commital hearing for it to go to district.
My suggestion get your friends, family to write up good charactor references for you when you go in front of the judge, stating that was out of charactor for you at the time. THe catch is, you are pleading guilty for one, without another, so that (in district) is up to a jury to decide. Most likely with an assault charge and first offence, you should get a suspended sentence. Please keep up updated.
Oh, and of couse WELCOME TO PTO ((((HUGS))))

The fact that there is an early plea of guilty will work in your favour. Strange but true. Courts just love early guilty pleas, because it shows there is some remorse for your actions and it avoids expensive jury trials.
