I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm Stephanie and my husband Anthony is finishing up a two year sentence here in Mississippi. Hopefully, God willing and the creek don't rise, he will be home on the 13th of May. This has been a long and lonely road and i'm glad it's almost over. I look forward to getting to know ya'll!!

Just wanted to make a formal introduction. I'm Stephanie and my husband is finishing up a two year sentence here in Mississippi. We have done 14 months and hopefullly he will be home in 20 days. It has been a long haul for the both of us and i'm beginning to think that the time before he actually gets home is just as hard as the time right after he left. We are both a bundle of nerves. This is his 2nd stint and God willing his last. Thank God, I wasn't around for the first one, he was down 4 years that time. I am also the Co-Owner of another online support forum and figure that this is something that I will always be involved in. I think that once you've been through this it is not something that you can ever just walk away from, or at least not for me. I look forward to getting to know ya'll.

Hi Stephanie, let me be the first to welcome you here. It must be nice to know that your husband is coming home in only 20 days, but it must also be nerve wrecking? Anyway, I'm sure you'll find a lot of support here, the people on here are just lovely. Hope to learn more about you soon!

Hi Stephanie -

Welcome! I too am from Mississippi but my husband is serving time in Alabama. He will also be home soon, so I understand that aspect of being frayed. I keep asking myself has he changed? Have I changed? And a million other questions. Anyway, congratulations on you husbands upcoming release! I'm glad you're here and once again - welcome.

Hi Stephanie:

Welcome to PTO.... You will find a great deal of support on this forum both now and when you husband comes home. I think sometimes that is as hard as having them in prison because there is so much re-adjustment they have to make to society.

God Bless and Keep you and your husband and I hope things will be great for you.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. It's always nice to know that we are not alone. The closer it gets to Anthonys homecoming the more life seems to be falling apart. But, this too shall pass and once he is home things will be easier to deal with, even with the readjustment period. Or at least I hope so. I will just be happy not to have to go through everything alone!!
