Are you all safe and sound ??? I just saw on TV the big storm which hit this part of Europe last night, and I do hope all of you are OK !!!

I'm in the North of England and we're fine here, although it was frightening when the house shook on Friday night. Trees down, slates off, fences broken and some flooding, but nothing serious. I have friends further north though that have had no electricity for over 24 hours and it could be tomorrow before it's reconnected. Another friend is in a city that is completely cut off by floods, again without electricity. But they have all said that after what happened in Asia, they have no cause to complain.

Reporting in from the south of England :D . We didn't get it as bad as other parts of the country, but it was mighty windy! Now we just have rain, more rain and the forecast is for...more rain:rolleyes:

All is well in Amsterdam. We are used to a good storm once in a while here and it looks like this one really did not do a lot of damage. Just need to tidy up my garden a bit.
(Or maybe that needed doing anyway................)

Storm was in Finland too ;) but luckily nothing serious happened. We were prepared for it very well... :)
