could someone please help me? MY fiancee signed a waiver to do six months in a parole revocation place but a few months ago they sent him to Jackson. Now he has a tentative parole month of 12-05. Does this mean he won't get out until that date or later? Could it be before? I'm so confused & sad:broken: thanks for any help! I send my love & prayers to you all!!!!!!!!

My fiance took a plea for 3 yrs to serve 1 yr.
His TPM was May 2004 and he was actually released June 17, 2004.
You should be able to call the Parole Board for more information regarding a TPM as they determine it.

MY HUSBAND BEEN IN LOCKUP SINCE DEC,2004 ON A 12 MONTH SENTENCE THE JUDGE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TIMED SERVED AND HOUSTON COUNTY ITS TWO FOR ONE. HE WAS SENT TO GDCP MARCH 2. HIS LAWYER STATES THAT HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WOULD SEND HIM THERE WHEN HE IS DUE TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 20 PB SAID THAT TMP IS NOT AVAILABLE IN HIS CASE. DO ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON THIS SITUATION.

PoohFatrat04, again, I would suggest either having your lawyer call the Parole Board or you could call them and ask them about it. Ask to speak to a hearing examiner. They seem to be a better help that the ones answering the phones. If you need a name to call, PM me and I'll give you that information. Good Luck!

a TPM is a tentative parole month, the parole board has the power to send him home before that but i would not get your hopes up cause more than likely they wont, usually they are sent home right around that date. But do call the parole board, 404-656-4569, that will get you a person and give them his EF or GDC ID # and they will tell you.

when you say 12 months i'm assuming he's in on a misdemeanor, and he's not to go down the road on a misd.. However, the only other way is that a probation revocation?? (felony).. If so then they can do that, and the state doesn't give 2 for 1. had he remain in the county he would have gotten 2 for 1... but now he's GDC property... i'm sorry to hear that, tell him to write to the C.P.L.A, they have drop boxes there in jackson, no stamp required!!!! good luck.

LISTEN!!!! That waivor is nothing but a tool to help the parole board from having to attend so many hearings when it comes to seeing violators, and they say that if you signed this you can be reviewed and release within 6 months BULL--IT!!! Then if you don't sign they say that it will be at least a year before they will review the inmate and possiabally have to serve alot of time after the hearing. My husband was arrested in Nov 04 on a tech violation he signed the waivor under the impression that he will be reviewed and released in 06/03. Fatchance the PB came back with a TPM of 11/06 with a pic (early release) of 05/06. I called the PB they said that the only thing the waivor does is promise that they will be reviewed in 6 months not released. My husband is still locked up but he is in a transitonal center. So that waivor is a scam. So I don't trust anything the PB does when it comes to working out deals with our loved ones.
