My older brother has been in prison for since thanksgiving of 2003. So he's been in for about 2 years. He got there by aggrivated robbery at subway and his lonngest time is 6 years. It's hard looking at his pictures knowing that I can't see him. We live in diff. states so it's nerve racking:blah: anyway i just came here for some support to help me get through this stessful time

I know how nerve-wracking it can be not being able to visit because of distance etc.I am looking forward to reading more of your posts- hope you come back here often- it really helps knowing you aren't alone - we are all here for each other :)!

Hi Lil_sista. It is very sad that you aren't able to see your brother. I am hoping/praying that they don't send my brother too far from me. I see him often now because he is just being processed (downstate) but there is no telling where he is going from there. YOu should try calling your state commissioner. Being that it is a hardship for your family to see him due to him being in another state...they may be able to place him closer to you now that he has served two years. Sometimes they will do that. One never knows with this system but it's worth a try. Good luck Lil_sis

Im right there beside ya. My brother is in his second stint and not scheduled for release until 2010, if he keeps his nose out of trouble. This is a great support site. and by the way WELCOME to PTO!! ;)
