That is one thing that I like about tx some units will take pictures. It all depends on the prison and the warden. I am so glad that I have these.. I did not even have older pics of anthony until late last year. No visit no pic so he never got one taken.. Until I came around

Those pics are great!! Glaad you are starting to create a history together with pics for the memories. They boys seem so happy with him, it nust feel wonderful!

to see how happy my boys are to see him is just amazing. they have a very special love and bond with him. It even trips him out. He is such an amazing man and really I don't think he even realizes it.. Having him in our lives has been such a blessing. Our boys just adore him and so do I. Then again I think all of you knew that..He is the man of my dreams and looking at these pics makes it easier some how. I just wish I could get him out of there. I know it will happen so I just continue to be faithful and keep trying everything I can to get him home with his family where he belongs.

shortie- your children are so precious-and they seem to adore anthony, i'm so happy for you that you we able to get pictures-and somehow it doesn't surprise me that when you came around-you changed the rules:) I know how important pictures are-and i can't wait to get one of my son and his dad- thanks for sharing those with us!!! bye for now....jennifer

seem like I am getting a reputation for getting things done. Really it is not me it is GOD in me.. I use what he has given me and I just draw of his power.. He points me in the way to go and I just follow... He is why I get things done..

I have learned the hard way about life. I have almost been in prison for 25 to life myself and if it was not for a good head on my shoulder and a law libarary I may just have been there right now.

God has blessed me with the ability to see things and find things others my not look for so I try to help other people when ever I can..

I did not bring a camera they they take poloroids then you can take them home. Where ant is they are $3 a piece. Ask about them and see if they take pics there. They take them up where my ex is. He is in cali they have to buy a pic from the commisary I think.. it works different but they can still do it..

As far as I know, prisoners can buy photo slips for a certain amount. There's only a limited amount of slips, so like during the holidays and all that the prisoners have to be real quick to be able to buy some photo slips for when family comes to visit.

shortie--over here in Texas do they have to get slips or do we just buy them when we visit??

ant has like 150 pic of me and the boys he is a pic freak like me. we are really blessed. he carries a couple around in his id case. the guys all know who i am it is weird when one walks up to me in visits and says hi and just starts talking to me.

so we have a really famous person here at PTO ;) that's really nice

Does it seem weird to have other inmates just come up to you and talk to you like they know you? Just think of the happiness you are bringing, not just to Anthony, but to everyone else with every visit! Pretty cool!

That is so true. i've noticed that many prisoners start to get interested, start to get new hope when they learn about another prisoner that found true love, or even a friend that reaches out to them

THEY TRULY DO BEGIN TO HAVE HOPE AGAIN WHEN THEY SEE THAT SOMEONE ELSE IS HAPPY OR IS STARTING OVER.. I THINK SO MANY OF THESE MEN AND WOMEN ARE LOST AND FEEL HOPELESS CUZ SO MANY PEOPLE TURNED THERE BACKS ON THEM. THEY ARE AFRAID TO TRY AGAIN OR JUST DO NOT HAVE THE INTEREST UNTIL THEY SEE ANOTHER PERSON HAPPY. IT IS AMAZING HOW CONTAGIOUS HAPPYNESS IS..

that is so true. many of my friends told me that they try not to get too much involved or too attached to people, since all they've known since being in prison, is that this person turns their back on them one day, sooner or later. because of how darrell and me feel about each other, i've gotten many requests from other muslim inmates if I can help them find a wife too...they got back their hope

i hooled up one of ant's friends it seems to have gone pretty well.. it is always nice when you can help out someone else..
