Hey Ladies-

I was wondering if anyone knew how long it usually takes to receive a decision from the parole board after they review a case and what do they generally base their decision on :confused:

We received a decision about 3 weeks after his case was reviewed. Their decision is usually based on what their requirements were to do as stated on their GRID sheet, their institutional conduct, how many times they have been locked up. They also decided on the likleyhood of the inmate being sucessful when they are released.
Try calling the parole board and ask to speak to a hearing examiner; ask them the questions; I did! That is where I got the answers to your question.

Thanks for the info. ~BabyG~. He has completed all that they asked of him and he has been "good". I was thinking about writing another letter to the pb, because they have not posted me as a contact or whatever. Do you or anyone else happen to know how long that takes?
