Can someone please tell me how you go about getting into boot camp in arkansas. how long does boot camp last? my son will be heading to pine bluff to be evauated, he is leaving crittenden county in the morning. what does he need to do to try to get into boot camp.

Patsy, Sorry no one has answered your questions, and i don't know the answer. i assume the boot camp option was court mandated. I think it lasts a year and i know they only offer it for first time felons. Maybe the diagnostic unit at pine bluff can ttell you more?

Boot Camp is in Wrightsville, AR. The program is usually 105 days with a new class starting every 31 days.

Sorry just saw this. When he gets diagnostics a seargent will come to the barracks and ask if anyone is interested in boot camp. Must have less than 10 years cant be serving 70% time and cant be a violent offender and this has to be first time down.

He can't be in for a SO either. Non -violent or otherwise.

All sex offenses are classified as violent in Arkansas there is no such thing as a non-violent sex offense.
