It is not easy - I found dope that I had hidden and I started shaking - but I did get rid of it. I have my down days and the same urges and thought processes start coming back - the biggest things is finding something to do that will keep my busy until I can control the thought process and urges again. I am still clean - and rapidly approaching my 60 day mark!! Erick (Brooks) has noticed a change in my attitude, my voice, my lettes and is also very proud of me! It has taken a lot to get where I am at, and the battle is far from over... but for today, I have made it one more day!! I love you all and really appreciate the encouragement and support that I have found from you guys - it has helped alot! You all are wonderful!! I am without internet right now - so I apologize for the slowness in replying! I am having to rely on other people to let me use their computers - but I will keep you all updated!! Thanks!! 1dayatatime 01-23-2005, 11:38 AM Yes, its one day at a time! I am not an addict but I work in detox. When I worked second shift I attend AA/NA with our residents twice a week. (AA/NA came to our facility). I learned so much and they always tell you a million times its one day at a time. I AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU!! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
