Anyone here in Weight Watchers? I want to know how many points I can have a day to loose weight. I tried to join but they wouldnt let me, said I didnt weigh enough. I have the formula to figure out the points for each food.

I am on it now. Your points depend on how much you weigh. To answer your question I would have to know your weight.

I weigh 127 pounds and I am 5 foot 5.

I am pretty sure that is 20 points but I will have to check when I get home. If you are 5'5" and weigh 127 there is no reason to lose weight tho! Maybe just exercise!

One of the ladies I work with is allowed 20 points so I assumed that would be my limit but she is about 5 foot 2 maybe 5 foot 3. I am unhappy with my weight---I weighed less than this when I had my first son.

I am 120 lbs but I am only 5"1. I'd like to lose just a few pounds and am on weight watchers now. The only problem is I am only allowed like 18-20 points and it is almost impossible for me. So, instead I am doing 20-25 points. I have not lost any weight yet though so that may be why! However, my main goal is to eat right and exercise, I am less concerned about my weight. I hope you find the right plan for you! Good luck.

The lady I work with eats a ton of food!! I mean a ton for under 20 points. SHe lost 26 pounds quickly and has mainten her weight for at least 8-10 months.
I think the key is finding the right foods that will last the entire day. She eats her last snack on her way home from work at 11:30 pm. Which is like 2 points and its a bad of popcorn (microwave). She has done really well.

You are right about that! You can eat tons of food and still stay within your point range. That is the great thing about weight watchers, we do not have to starve ourselves to lose the weight!! I have just started so I am not in a rush to lose the weight right away. I'd rather it come off gradually and I maintain it, than to come up right away and throw it right back on!!! :p If you decide to start, let's keep each other posted on our progress!

Confirming: 20 points is for anyone under 150 lbs. It does not matter how tall you are.
Weight watchers has a new program called core where you don't count any points (but then you are only allowed certain foods ONLY).
