For those of you who are not familiar with the African continent... Here are a few maps that show all the countries. If you have some of individual countries, please feel free to post them.

If i can clear something up - a lot of people ask me because i am from Kwa Zulu Natal, the Durban region why we have a piece of yellow in Kwa Zulu Natal that belongs to the Eastern Cape. It is actually part of a mountain range that belongs to the Eastern Cape, and because it actually belongs to the eastern cape, it is colored in Yellow, and is maintained by that region. A lot of people who look at that map ask me that question. I had to research it. It was not like that all the time. When we became the "New South Africa", and certain areas rezoned, it just happened to get like that. Also a lot of the places have had name changes. Johannesburg is no longer called that but is now Called "Gauteng" Place of Gold in English - Durban is Now "Etekweni" Cape Town is getting a different name. A lot of the towns have been changed, and for the life of me i cant pronounce half of them or even know what they mean. We are a little upset because of Tourism reasons, but.... not much we can do. I live in Shaka Zulus playground and it is a wonderful beautiful place to live. 1 km from the beach, peaceful, hardly any crime in the area i live. To be honest i havent heard a police siren in months. But then town and townships are ravaged with crime. We had 20 000 murders in SA alone last year.

You may think I'm nuts, but I envy you. Only because I have never been to South Africa. It's a crazy envy, because I know that SA is to you as Colorado is to me.

Dont come to South Africa... ever. A lot has changed since 2005. I would not leave, because this is my country, but I would not advise anyone to come here to live, and if you are on holiday.... be careful, be afraid. I know the tourism people would disagree but so many tourists get attacked here.
