Does anybody know if an inmate who is retired military can use their military health insurance to help pay for their medication? Specifically, maintanance medication (harmones) for post surgary for cancer. Thought I would ask here before I call Champus this week. Maybe someone could give me some guidance on how to approach this.

As far as I know they can't use their insurance. I don't know that Champus would be any different. See the prison won't bill the insurances. I sure wish Bill could use our BCBS.

I hope I can find a way to get her back on her meds. I woryy about her mood swings when she has not had them in a while. She is doing pretty good so far though. She has given them all the info. And supposedly she is going to go back on them soon. But, I worry. I don't think they (DOC) can deny her the meds, but, nothing surprises me, anymore.

I wish you and I both could use our insurances.
