Hi there, I hope s.o. out there has an idea to help me with this:
I know inmates of the US have to stay at least five yrs crime free after sentencing and parole is over. BUT what about US citizens whose parents live in Canada, he lived in Canada as a kid AND what is if he is a member of a Native American tribe, with reservation located in Canada??? Will they still not let him in?
Any ideas, web sites, adresses where I can get info??
Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Wildthing-You can get more information about the Jay Treaty and Border Crossing Rights between US and Canada for Aboriginal People at this website http://www.ptla.org/wabanaki/jaytreaty.htm . If they can't help you they might be able to refer you to someone who can.
