I got my christmas presents today :yay:
They have been in quarantine since the 15th December (that I didnt know about, I was freaking they had gone missing), but didnt know how, since it was registered mail (thank goodness). It cost him $56 to send here. :(

He sent me 2 dream catchers, I think he had been saving all the feathers he had found in rec, and I think thats what quarantined the parcel, cause they had to "treat" them (so the letter said from customs). I was lucky to get them, but it was a really nice surprise. I got a BOXFUL of candy for myself and the kids (they are hypo now), coffee (irish cream cappachino) the ones he is always telling me his drinking when his writing, and 10 beautiful artwork on those large artboards, that I will scan later on to share, for myself and the kids.
I am so happy and excited :yay: :dance: He also sent me a heap of spiderman comics from 1997 to now :D

His love is definately the most priceless thing of all :D Those made presents (not the candy, that was bought :D, else the kids would be calling him candyman) that he hand made himself mean more to me than anything I have ever recieved.

I'm so happy for you Kyla! My boyfriend from deathrow sent me a jewelry box made of some good quality wood. I guess they have some kind of arts and crafts program. I mean this box was sooo beautiful! He carved a perfect heart in the front of it! Just like you said Kyla, it meant alot to me because he made it himself. :)

Wow Kyla that's awesome!! :) I am really happy for ya girl! My hubby made me a beautiful unicorn picture, gave me a book on pugs (my favorite doggy ever) and a beautiful silver ring with two dolphins forming a heart. :) Our guys are sweet huh? :)

Thats great Kyla, I k now that meant a lot to you to have handmade stuff that was truly from his heart.

OH, Kyla! I am soooooo happy for you!!!!!! It seems that there is a man with big and warm heart.. Handmade presents also are really awesome! I think someone there is flying now ;-) I also got present today, ok not from my friend on DR, but weddng present from my friend from NYC, and also my son got Shrek-toys from her.. It was fun to open presents again... Also last week I got really (!) awesome artworks from Robert... My friend - those made me sooooooo happy... :)

These gifts they send are just so touching - you can't put a value on something with so much meaning and love. I got a beautiful drawing from a friend on d/row last week and have it up by the desk here in a frame. Saying thank you just doesn't do it justice does it, because it means so much to us. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends aren't we.
