:) I'm new at this.My husband is a inmate at P.V.S.P. I recived a letter last week from him. He says they put him on a 5 years closed custody.Please can some one tell me want this means?

my husband is also at P.V.S.P. he is also a closed custody inmate. it's due to thier points and how much time they were sentenced to. they are only allowed yard 3 times a week. they are only allowed dayroom during daylight hours. phone calls are limited to once a month. they cannot have a job unless it is in thier building. they must also be counted twice during the day. they do get regular contact visits and can recieve quarterly packages. they can also get a t.v and radio.for the first year it is closed custody A. if he does not get any write ups in the first year he will be moved to closed custody b for the next 2 to 4 yr. i hope that answers your questions. pm if you have any additional questions. i might be able to help.

Don't know the answer but I wanted to say hi since "we" just moved to PV and I believe my guy is closed custody A (he said he's the highest security level) but has calls once a week.

Anyway, I am looking forward to visiting there (after LAC, which was awful and 7 hours away). And I am thrilled my letters to him have only taken 3 days! I hope it lasts...
