I was wanting to know if anyone knows what happens or should i say what does this state do when someone is going to be released soon and they have put homeless on the papers and they have no place to go ? do they just allow them to go to the streets ?? or do they find them a half way house to go to??

They have to have a place to go to. The prisoner should set this up prior to release. He should have the information on halfway houses & what they are telling him to do on that from in there. If they aren't giving him info. then he should ask. Also, I know that you can research half-way houses, shelters, etc. from outside & give him the locations that seem good & have room.

if they time out then they do not need an address as if they did the whole sentence they are just free ... it can suck if someone did a long bid and has lost touch of family
they do I believe hook them up with a charity group ... tho I might be wrong about the hook up

MyGuy is coming home soon .. and he said he got a letter from a Halfway house in the Phoenix/Tempe area .. offering him a place to stay for $XX.XX a week. He is of course coming home ... :p But he and I are both kinda baffled as to how they got his name ... and information regarding his release... and if they had that .. why didn't they know he had a home?

So someone ... must be making initial contact on behalf of them ... my guess
