Does anyone have a link to a free pattern for a bingo bag? Not a tote type of bag, but one that acutally holds daubers (around the outside) and has a drawstring? The bags i have seen for sale are so ugly, I want to make a pretty one for myself and maybe to sell/give. :banghead: PLEASE HELP. I have been looking all afternoon online and cant find a pattern, just stupid links. Or if you know someone that you know sews, that might know, or if i could buy a pattern or something...?:confused:

I find it hard to believe that with all these members a. no one sews and b. none of these "sewers" play bingo... :(

I had a pattern at one time.. it was either from McCalls or Simplicity. Check the craft section of the pattern books at a fabric store. The pattern I had was not specifically for a bingo bag...but it worked with a little alteration ;)
I'll ask some of the ladies at Wednesday night bingo this week if they have one

thank you mrs dragon. all the bags at the casino are kinda ugly. i though i could jazz it up with a pretty fabric. who knows maybe i could sell them???

DID YOU EVER FIND YOUR BINGO BAG PATTERN?? I AM A SEWER ALSO AND WAS WONDERING WHERE YOU FOUND IT IF YOU DID...I HAVE BEEN LOOKING BUT COUDLNT FIND ANY.

Theres also the possibility of getting a plain one and dressing it up with iron ons and such..........

Yes I sew and sorry wish I had found this site sooner. There are some really cute type tote bags out there I have a few little bag patterns. Some have beaded fringe and tassels. There is so many nice fabrics out there now you can do so much. I also sew hats and victorian clothing. If you're interested send me a pm and I can locate them and give you pattern names and numbers..I didn't know since this post is so old...but thought I would give it a try to help....

sweet check out ebay there are a bunch of patterns for totes back pack type bags there...the ladys store name is "The sewing bird fabric store" and her name is "Teh Little Castle" i have made many of these totes and have some oh her patterns. you can do a lot with trims and beads that are out there...Susan
