Hi all! Can anyone please help me on this matter? My boyfriend has me as the one he will parole home to on his parole plan. However a couple months back I was going to change my phone number and told my boyfriend this. I sent him my what would be my new number. However he asked me if I could postpone this until he comes home due to his upcoming parole reveiw. So I told him sure I could. I did not change my number. Travis had his parole reveiw 8 weeks ago and he accidently gave them the so called new number! He just realized what he did! Okay so now, does anyone know what I can do to make sure the Parole Board will have my correct phone number if god willing, Travis is granted his parole and they need to call me? I am in San Antonio, Texas. Any help would be grately appreciated! Thank you...

All the advice that I can give you would be for him to put a request in to see the parole board at the prison that he is in and change it there and explain the situation or send them a kite. You may even call the main parole office in your state and explain this yourself, that way you know that the both of you have done something and I am sure that they will change it but I would do it as soon as possible.

Becky, you can probably just send it in writing to the Parole Board by mail... they probably get stuff like that all the time.

Jamieh and Lysbeth~ Thanks for your info.. I have since called the Parole board and they told me to contact the Parole office here in San Antonio. So I did that. Now I call every Monday and Friday and we are waiting for Travis's Parole Plan package to arrive there. They will take my corrrect number then. Also Travis contacted the Parole guy there at his unit twice already but he still has done nothing about it. So Travis told me I would have better luck then him out here and to please keep on Top of things...

Becky,
I am glad that you are getting it all worked out. I am just sorry that I didn't get to this before.
