Well, I have a wonderful update on my brother. As I have said before HE gets out Feb. 7th of next year. My whole family is thrilled. Today we got all the arrangements made for him to come home. The plane ticket, flight, and how he is getting from the prision to the airport. People from the church are amazing they are going to pick him up from the prison and take him to the airport. Some people have amazing hearts. Anyway during all of these plans it really hit me that my big brother is coming home! it seems so far away but it really is going by fast. i can't wait. We got to send him some clothes to come home in. I mailed off his favorite clothes to suprise him. he thinks he is getting a sweathirt and stuff...he has a treat coming. It just makes me so happy to know he really is coming home. it is a wonderful feeling. it felt like a dream until today when we make all the offical arrangements and spoke with the prision to let them know because I guess they have to know at least 60 days in advance for some reason. Anyway i just thought i would give the latest on my brother.

Rick'sPooh- That is so wonderful that it's only a few weeks away! Did you ask the church to pick him up as a special favor or is that something they do regularly? I am really looking forward to hearing how he settles in once he's home - maybe you can get him to come here and talk about his experiences. Please keep us updated- good to know all the practical things that have to happen before a loved one is released! :)

We called the church and asked them if they could pick him up. we live in WA State so it would be very hard to get him home otherwise. It was very kind of them to say yes. I will see if he will become a member once he gets home, i am sure he would like to share some of his stories. You are all great and I think it would be great to have him a part of this place. It would be good for him as well.
