Hi all, I received a request form for visitation from a friend in the New Folsom prison and was just wondering what to expect. I am in Michigan and have never been in a prison before. What is it going to be like? What should/shouldn't I wear? What should I take or not take? I have no idea, lol. Thanks for any help!

Here are a few basics of what not to wear. No blue, no olive green, no yellow, shorts have to be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee, no underwire bras, no short dresses, no sleeveless tops, any kind of shoes allowed.I haven't visited Folsom but when I visited my guy at Pelican Bay I took in only my ID and a clear coin purse with change for the vending machines
