Does anyone have any info about new national or regional (South Florida) BOP policies, regulations, or administrative measures further restricting the transfer of CCC (halfway house) prisoners into home confinement settings, even after federal prisoners have hit their 10% eligibility status for home confinement?
Feel free to private message me if you prefer.
Thanks.

I am in Tennessee, and the halfway house I was designated to has sent me on home confinement for the last 7 weeks of my 6 months. They are putting the paperwork into the BOP as soon as people are eligible, but if you have a short time to be at the halfway house (like 3 months or less), you aren't likely to get home confinement. At least in this area. I have a friend who just did 6 months halfway house in Tampa and she got to go on home confinement after 4 months, with the monitoring bracelet. We do not have to wear the bracelet where I am.
Hope that helps.
Take Care,
Mary
