Hey everyone, my man is at Dodge right now, he has been there since the 2nd. My question is about visitation, I know I read somewhere on here that they were able to have visitors other than their direct relatives and was wondering if anyone had any info on that. Is that only if they are staffed there? My man doesnt seem to know anything about it. He was told he would either go to Jackson or Red Granite. I am in Oklahoma and our baby is due in 5 weeks and I really want to be able to visit him with the new baby. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

My husband just left Dodge about a month ago and as far as I know when you are in the Assessment and Evaluation Unit (A&E , I believe they refer to it)...only children, spouses and parents of the inmate can visit...His sister was even denied visits while he was there. Apparently I was told that those rules were pretty new..I think if he ended up serving his time at Dodge, then others could probably visit. Good Luck, hopefully it won't be too long before he is transferred out.

When my guy was in Dodge awaiting transfer I was able to be on his visiting list. And hey my guy is in Jackson now. It was just suppossed to be temp. until they can bring him up closer to home but now it looks like he might finish his time there.

My son is in Dodge and I believe while they are in evaluation they can not have visitors. They then have to put people on a visitors list which consist of forms being sent to you and filled out and returned to the prison. But this is only done every six months. My son to was sent to Dodge on a temp basis. He has now been there for 8 months. He is supposed to be having a review hearing tomorrow to see if he will be transferred. Good luck but don't bank on anything.
