if the rest of the States would just follow Kansas... it would be great!

Too bad the law wasn't overturned because it's immoral. I think it was ruled illegal because of some technicalty.

I agree completely! How about they write somewhere in the damn constitution that it's just not right!?!?! I could go for that one! Immoral and all kinds of screwed up!

Hmmm...I am confused. From what I gathered from the article they weren't saying that the death penalty was unconstitutional but rather the way they go about sentencing people.

The rules for the jury stated when in doubt give the person the death penalty.

"The Kansas law states that when juries find arguments for and against execution equal, their decision should favor a death sentence."

So basically the six people who were given the death penalty by default...will receive a new sentence because the method in which it was administered was "unconstitutional".

Or am I wrong here?
