Girl to stand trial for murder of stepsister

The Directorate of Public Prosecutions has formally charged another 14-year-old girl with murder. The girl from Estcourt is alleged to have killed her four-year-old stepsister in October this year.

The girl who had been sent for mental observation for 30 days at a mental institution has been found fit to stand trial and the medical report to this effect will be handed in when she appears in court on Tuesday next week.
