I visited there for the first time this past Sunday and I felt very good about this place. My husband said every one is laid back and the place is decent. Also eveybody get contact visits wether if you're family or not. I found that to be interesting. gamma577 11-15-2005, 04:45 PM My son is there and I know the place is not bad, they can ask to go to work construction is good and classes past the time away.Hopefully our love ones will meet and be in good spirits.Take care gamma577 a_coleman 11-15-2005, 05:22 PM My husband was there and yes it is a VERY laid back unit. txsfmhstn 11-20-2005, 10:35 PM My son has been there for over a year now. Hardly anything goes on there, laid back. Not sure about everyone getting contact visit there yet. My son mentioned that they were going to do that at some point. They do have 2 phones for visiting, I have seen people waiting to use them before. If you are driving over 300 miles you can request a special visit, 4 hours for each day if you plan to stay over night. You just call the unit the Monday before you plan to go, or even up until Thursday. Then you call back on Friday afternoon to see if you get approved for the visit. honey2_28_05 11-28-2005, 07:39 PM My husband's been there for several months, almost a year, and he hasn't had any problems. The CO's are nice, there's not many fights, etc... They've always been really nice when I've called and visited too. |
