Hi everybody... I was wondering if anybody could tell me, that is visiting from out of town, if they ever had special visits during the week and what the visitation hours for that are at the ASPC - Lewis. Thanks for any kind of info and help with this.

Not sure how much practical help this infor is for you, but I had originally planned on being in AZ for a week over this Christmas to spend the weekend and some weekdays visiting and I was advised Special Visits are as follows (since I am out of state):

Special Visits:
4 hours maximum/visit
Hours between between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.
Maximum three (3) special visits per week
Nay on Fridays - priority for "lockdown" visitations (limited staff)
Nay on Mondays - priority for no-contact visitations (limited by staff)

the inmate has to request special visits, and the days then he summits them for approval . If approved or not the inmate should call or write his special visitor and let them know days and time,Its usually regular visitation days and time.

They do need to submit the request 21 days in advance as per all paperwork... jsut to add...
