I'm looking to talk and receive comfort from someone with a life term love one who is facing the parole board. Either has been or is going to board soon. Also, someone who husband has recieved a date. I'm trying to keep my head up and have faith. Sometimes it's hard holding on when family visits no longer exist and looking forward to a date that dont exist. I love my husband to death and it's gotten to the point to where i can't worry about myself anymore it's all about being there for him right? Nevertheless, i know God is with me and that i will be blessed for standing by my husband but in the mean time i can use some sisters who relate to what i'm going through.

Welcome Tanya... I hang in both the lifer and Cali forums. But my guy won't be up for parole for a million years (see siggy).

I know there have been some lifer people here who've gone to parole board, hopefully some will join in your thread.

When is your guy up? Please let us know how it goes... best of luck! If he gets a date, you can get family visits, right?
