Hi, I have a friend who just went to jail or prison. I'm not sure if it makes a difference. But he was sentenced on dec. 2. He is in Conneticut, ma for a month and then going to to Virginia. If anyone could help me figure out how to find out which prison he is in. He was in the USCG and had military charges, i don't know if this makes a difference from civilian. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks

SS, there are any number of places he could be. It all depends on what the sentence is. If it is relatively short, he could be in a local brig, or in a Regional Confinement Facility. If it is longer than 5 years, he is probably at Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
