Are intimate contact visits allowed while on Death Row?

No no intimitate contact visits are allowed on death row.

are you really wanting to know if intimate visits are allowed on death row, or did you make a typo and really meant to ask if inmate contact visits are allowed on death row? well the answers to both just in case are: no, intimate visits are not allowed. if you geta contact visit you may hug and embrace with a kiss at the beginning and end of a visit. in california death row inmates do get contact visits...up to 4 hours (2 hours on a weekday, and 2 hours on a weekend) a week by appointment only. i hope somehow this information helps.

Andrea some DR do allow contact visits, Ca and FL are ones, but as Regissweetness said it is a hug and a Kiss, you can't have intimate contact if that is what you mean't.
I believe FL you are allowed to walk in the DR yard, unless they have changed that.

At Florida State Prision (vs. Union) the ACVP is similar to an old style gymnasium with "picnic" tables. You are free to move about, visit the canteen and recently have your picture taken. You are discouraged from interacting with other tables. You do get to touch the guys, hands above the table please (LOL).
As much as you can say negativley about the place, at least we are allowed 6 hours with them every weekend face to face.

That why I don't understand that Polunsky policy

In europe, the netherlands, you can even get intimate visits.
They call them special visits and you get about 3 -4 hours and the lock you and your friend in a visiting cell, it looks just like their own cell (with a bed and shower and toilet in it) and you can do what you please..

Nevada allow contact visits. Hugs and kiss at the beginning and at the end + you can hold hands during the visit. Visits are 2 times a wees from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Alabama death row you can have contact visits. A hug at the beginning of the visit. and a kiss. and the same at the end of the visit. We sit side by side at the table. hold hands and go to the drink machines together and everything. for a 6 hour visit on Fridays . 7:30-1:30.
