HotLatinaMILF4U 12-13-2004, 09:01 PM Moving this to Alabama... I'm sure someone will come along and help. The Crime Bill is a drug rehab that federally funded. Alabama loves to send people through it, because they get federal bucks for each prisoner that goes through the program. My husband was in the second or third class way back when. From what I understand, there's now a long, long waiting list to get into the Crime Bill program. GSPack 12-14-2004, 01:23 PM Welcome to PTO From me too!!! I have a daughter in prison at Tutweler and I am rasing her daughter for the last 4 1/2 yrs. ALabama Granny E'sGirl 12-14-2004, 08:07 PM My fiance has been at bibb about 2 months and now they have put him in the crime bill program. He applied for it about a month ago and got in it last thursday. From what he tells me he can go straight ot work release after he finishes crime bill instead of going to an honor camp. Is that right? E'sGirl 12-14-2004, 08:09 PM I did not know it was a drug rehab program becuase he has never done drugs in his life. ragland 12-15-2004, 06:42 AM my boyfriend was in there on totally unrelated charges to drugs as well (obstruction of justice) and they sent him through it anyway.....regaurdless if hes on drugs or not joe thinks its best if everyone go through the class it really is a good program drugs or not. he was immediately paroled upon completion of this program. welcome to PTO LeesLady 12-15-2004, 08:56 AM Welcome E's.From my understanding it offers like anger mangement, drug rehab and basically from what I've been told it's just about whatever they offer all rolled into one package. Blueyez94 12-15-2004, 09:37 AM I have been where my guy is at that there was several guys up for parole that got set off because they didn't go thru the SAP program. E'sGirl 12-15-2004, 08:22 PM He was sentenced to 3 years and has only did 6 months(4 months was at county). Is there a chance that he could get paroled early? Do you even get parole with only three years? Dixie_sweetie 12-16-2004, 04:37 PM YOu can get parole with only 3 years. My exs min. date was only 2 years and he went up for parole after serving only 5 months, but was denied I am not sure why he was denied cause he sure isn't going to tell me since he lied about everything else. Anyway I hope you figure what you need to know. By the way welcome to PTO. |
