OMG that is just awful!! :(
 I know - too sickening, one cannot imagine the horror and anguish that poor kid must have gone through. Now he might even be HIV. I get so angry at this because I know it happens on a large scale, the warders know it goes on too but they do nothing about it. A lot of these young kids go in for some thing fairly minor, but it's what happens to them inside there that changes them into criminals.....because they have to survive that system and the wardens, that whole set up DOES not care. It's like they lock them up and just forget about them.

Typical things for these prisons to do is try to look as if they are changing the situation for about 3 weeks and then let it slide back again into this really bad state - they just don't care. Their attitude is "well they shouldn't be here in the first place!!!!!" There are some really dense people working in these prisons. Sorry ! But this really makes me mad !
I can just agree with the others here, itīs so awful :(

The saddest part about this all is that it happens all over the SA prisons. Some are just not strong enough to bring charges against these people for fear of their lives. It is a pity that nothing gets done to stop this kind of behavior. When i say nothing, i mean NOTHING.
