Hi, I'm Kate & I've just sort of stumbled into this site-- seems like a good place.
I'm not to sure where I belong in here. It may sound a little odd, but I haven't even met the guy I'm here about.
We've written to each other for about 10 years now...he's in Ohio, I'm in Canada. The sentencing laws there are screwed up...and we're waiting (& waiting & waiting) for some good news to come along soon regarding his release. He's basically stuck there 'til the judicial committee there reads or does something about a bill that was introduced way back in December.
I don't know....the wait for even meeting him (Mark) is killing me. Must be love or maybe I'm just naive...I don't know.
Sorry this post sucks....I'm not used to talking to anyone about him. Never have actually.
Anyway....that's all for now.

Of course you belong here!!!! You can talk about your friend at any time you want. The reason most people ARE here is because we can't talk to our friends because they don't understand. There are women here that have met their husbands as a Pen Pal and then fell in love, there are mom's here, almost anyone you could think of. There are even people here that write to Death Row Inmates.

All that matters is that you have someone that you care very much about in prison. Talk away and don't ever feel bad about what you have to say for being judged about it.

Your post didn't suck at all. I believe it's LOVE and infatuation even though you two haven't met yet. Wait it out and see what happens.
You know the motto: Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

This where we all belong right now. We are all here for the same reason pretty much and need someone who can give us advice or just listen to us vent. this is the place you can do all that and plus find out a lot of valuable information. if you ever need to talk PM me.:)
