The Hole is Ad/Seg. Ad/Seg is one building, some prisons have 2 Ad/Seg buildings. Point is you cannot place an entire yard in Ad/Seg. There just isn't room.

They are on lockdown maybe?

AD/SEG (The Hole) at most prisons is on "A" Yard.

Yes, Ad/Seg is usually on a yard but it is only one building on that yard. They have been building new Ad/Seg units at various prisons that are separate in the last few years.

All of A yard at Ironwood is NOT the hole. The area that they use at Ironwood for the guys in the 'hole' is at it's max amount of people that can be in the hole. They are using some of the other units as a temporary holding area til they can get through all the 115's and decide weather to push the guys out of the hole early to put the new ones in, or what they are going to do with everyone. I know, cause my husband is in the 'hole', and Ironwood, right now.
