Phil in Paris 12-11-2004, 07:28 AM Welcome home :) Phil HanginOn 12-11-2004, 08:38 AM Welcome home! 27sbb 12-11-2004, 08:42 AM Welcome Home!!! txgrannie 12-11-2004, 10:16 PM Hold on ----- I may be in worse shape than being at Bryan ---- I have a PO who did not abide by the 72 hours that the Feds give you to report probably due to the fact that she will be off on Monday. I had planned to do my Christmas shopping this weekend but first I wanted my hair cut in Austin - well, the hair cut never came due to the demanding PO that I be in Austin by 2 p.m. - then she gave me 30 minutes to drive back home and I lived 40 miles from downtown Austin. I think that she and my husband had had words earlier this week over the phone that Verizon took a couple of extra days to install and then she said he never gave her the phone number. Well my daughter said she thought he had called the number in to the PO. Well, I go into the PO office and the hubby stands in the hall - she jumps all over me but I don't know the phone number and have to go to the hall to get the number. Then she tells me that we have these three stacks of papers to go over and we cover 4 pages that are a repeat of a class that you attend at Bryan explaining home monitoring. She tell me to go home and I ask if I have time to stop and get something to eat [since I only had a saugage & biscuit about 9:00 a.m.] in Bryan. She tells me to go thru the drive thru. Well she then gives me 30 minutes to get home. It is after 3 p.m. on Friday from Downtown Austin. So we get home in about 45 minutes going as fast as legal - my hubby runs to town to get me a plate of food from one of the restaurants - When the PO arrives [an hour after I left Austin] I don't know where the phone line has been installed since I have been in the house a total of 15 minutes all day. I start to pick up the kitchen phone and dial the phone number and she grabs her cell phone and calls some guy to call the number - Well the number never rings so we can not determine which phone is on the new phone line - so she hooks the system up to the kitchen phone with the princess phone that was in the living room originally. This phone has all the stuff - call waiting, etc. She said she will come out on Tuesday to put it on the new line. When hubby returns home he advises me that Verizon took the line in the living room and made it the second line. He picks up a phone and dials the number and the phone rings in the living room. According to Bryan paperwork on dischange, I am to contact San Antonio's office on Monday morning. I am going to try to see what can be done about this PO who has some personal problems or something. deb 12-11-2004, 10:22 PM The PO sounds awful. Congrats on being home and I sure hope you get a different PO and things start being a little calmer and more sane.... ((hugs)) Deb FriscoLady 12-12-2004, 06:54 AM Welcome Home! Good to see you back!
