This is our second Christmas home, but I still don't know what to get him. In prison, it was actually easier to buy for him because he was so limited on what he could have!

Last year I got him stuff for his car, a tool box, socks and underwear, and some other junk.

This year he's asked for sneakers and I want to get him a Scrabble Dictionary (because I think he cheats). ;)

He has more clothes than I do, and doesn't need any. In fact, he needs to get rid of some of his clothes, but he's such a packrat, he won't turn loose of anything.

So, what's under your tree?

Well, my baby is still in, but here's what I would get him....something cute, something funny, something that makes him smile. Is there anything he's talked about that you know he wants? Those presents are usually the most meaningful. When my best friend and I first met she said that one day she'd love a star to be named after her, well, her birthday was about 9 months later and I was able to get her lucky star named after her. I know she loved the present and I know it meant so much to her because she talked about it ONCE and 9 months later I made sure she had it for her birthday. Those kinds of presents always mean more and are always wonderful because you know how much the person cherished them. Is there anything your husband has mentioned in the past? If so, get that for him because he'll be so touched by the fact that you remembered it and you actually got it! I don't know if that helps, but maybe it will! :D

I am still unsure of what I am going to get him myself. I do know for sure he needs a new shaver. He currently has one of those nurelco shavers but then he went to prison and was used to using just razors. So now this Nurelco isn't working good for him. But I figured it could be because it sat for 1 1/2 yrs. So I will get him a new one and hope it works better for him. Other than that I am loss for ideas myself.

LOL! He NEVER asks for anything! It drives me crazy, because I drop hints all of the time!! When I ask him point-blank, he says "Just a pair of shoes. That's all."

A shaver sounds like a good idea - I don't know if Wayne has ever owned one! Hmmm....

I remembered every thing Matt said he wanted while in there and bought most of it for his first Christmas home except the tool set as I have NO CLUE about tools LOL
I bought him a leather jacket,Harley shirt and hat and stocking full of little stocking stuffers.

Electric razor is a good idea, how about a watch? Thats one thing I do want to get Matt eventually also

Great question. I don't know what to get him. When I inquire, he says nothing. Since he has been home, I've brought him things that he has needed and wanted as well. He has been talking about some tims. I saw a pair on sale and will probably get them.

My friend want us to go shopping together to buy Christmas presents for our male friends.

He doesn't want to do anything for New Year's. He said that he wants to remain close to home and just reflect about his freedom. I am going to take his lead on this.

How unfair is this? Sebastian's birthday is 10 days before Christmas!!! I'm having a surprise party for him. For his birthday a sweat suit, sweater, CD's, boxers and t-shirts. For Christmas I'm giving him a money clip and a leather jacket.

Happy Holidays,
Patty

Well, I purchased his gift today. It's a combo tool kit for work. He is doing construction work (door framing, putting in floors, etc.), therefore, I wanted to buy him something that will assist him in being prepared for his craft. He was overwhelmed and surprised. I also brought other itmes that he will need (knee pads, blades for saws, masks, gloves, etc.)

Mine bought shoes, a watch and a new shaver out of his first paycheck. I got him a jacket, gloves and jeans for his birthday 2 weeks ago, sooo... I got him and Xbox and some games, socks and underwear (he loves them). a head tingler massager, and a Scrabble game (because we miss playing it at visiting- ha!) and the matching Srabble dictionary because I cheat!! (poor baby- he believes everyhting I tell him!):D Next year, I'm stumped!

I don't know girlie!
I would think if he's into Scrabble he'd probably like to have you beat him at pictionary or something. If he's a fan of board games that should amuse him to get him more. :)

This is our first Christmas with him home and the prior was spent in different states so I am excited!

I got my fiance Fable for X-box, he wanted it so bad and the book/guide that goes with it.

Also got him the new Green Day cd.

A new pair of jeans, 2 dvd's, some house slippers (he begged lol) and stuff that he needs for stocking stuffers like razors, smokes, etc. :)
