I know everyone must of either seen the news yesterday or read the papers on the reform of the "Rock". It's a start in getting these harsh sentences dropt down. At least there won't be no more life at the end of the sentences. They say that over 400 inmates serving non-violent drug offenses will be resentenced. This is great cause alot of loved ones will be coming out real soon and others alot sooner then expected. I'm so happy about this, I don't think by putting someone in jail for such along time for selling, using, or possesion is helping them at all. Cause by the time they come home they are completely different people and sometimes not for the better. I just hope they try and agree on an alternative for first time offenders cause that's what's really needed. Congrats to all the families with loved ones getting their sentences cut. I know I'm jumping for joy...
