:idea: Does anyone know if an inmate who is soon to be released can apply for disability benefits, My brother-in-law is about to be released soon however he is very sick and won't be able to get a job nor hold one down. I know that I have heard of it but I'm not 100% sure if an inmate can apply while 2 months short of being released. I would appreciate any input anyone can give me on this so that i can relay the message. Thanks

I had called last year for my cousin. He was on disability when he went in, so yes, as soon as he got out he re-applied. But we couldn't apply while he's incarcerated.
