Can someone please give me the P.O. Box address or mailing address for an inmate in Lancaster, I think he is in A Yard or Building?? I got an address but it wasn't a P.O. Box and the lady in records at Lancaster is giving major attitude, so I'm wanting to confirm the address is correct. Also, if anyone knows if appointments are hard to get in Lancaster?? Anyone who knows any info or can share any info will be greatly appreciated. :)

If he's in ad seg, you have to get an appointment by calling at 8 am sharp on Friday morning, I've always gotten one.

Almond --You can write to him directly by mail, inmates don't have email.

But in California, the inmate numbers start with a letter. Are you sure he's in Lancaster, California? A few other states have Lancaster prisons too...

Anyway, there's like 3000 inmates at this prison so I don't think anyone will find him too easily...

WELL IT CAN TAKE UP TO 2-3MONTHS CAUSE THEY ARE STILL IN RECEPTION FOR THAT LONG SO IT ALL DEPENDS HOW FAST THEY PROCESS HIM AND LANCASTER IS NOT THE EASIEST EITHER MY BROTHER IS THERE BUT HELL BE HOME JAN 9 HOPEFULLY THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THEY CHANGED HIS DATE. The letter I got from my husband yesterday stated that all inmates on A yard have been transferred already to other prisons and they are currently working on B yard. He had asked me to search the internet to find out if the whole prison was being changed to a reception prison - all I've been able to find so far that has even discussed it, is this site.
Hopefully, someone will know more than us and will let us in on the information.

So far all they have done is move people out of B-3, they are now working on B-2 and then b-5,b-4,b-1. As far as I know no one from A yard has been transferred at all. Lancaster is eventually going to be a full reception prison but as you can see it is taking them forever.

i think they are going to keep level one and the rest is going to be a reception.

IS there any other way that an inmates wife can find out a release date? My husband is being sneaky and doesn't want to tell me! I think he wants it to be surprise, but I want to have a real day to look forward to. Not just my estimate! He tells me he is goint to get released sometime between March and May.. thats a huge gap! Do I have to just keep bugging him or what?

Also.. does anyone have any reviews about the Phone service, PCO? I want to try it because they quoted me a really low price, seeing that i am out of state. But I want to know about the quality. Any info provided would be helpful! Thanks!!!!

My husband is supposed to send me visiting forms because the ones i sent when he was in delano never got any type of response!
