My husband has just been transfered from CCA Mineral Wells back to TDC. He is now at the Allred unit in Iowa Park. I don't know how long he will be there. He was in Mineral Wells. I'm from Corpus Christi and I moved up here to Dallas to be closer to him. So I guess I'm glad he is still in this region. I don't know how long he'll be there or where to go from here. Can anyone tell me how the Allred unit is and what to expect?

Hey youngster's love welcome to PTO, I am also new here, but I can help you as well. I live in Lubbock TX (west tx) and it takes me 4hrs to get there and I live 5hrs from Dallas so you are about 4hrs from him. Iowa Park is very small not to worry! Make sure you call ahead of time to the Unit to make sure it is not on lockdown, because that Unit is a trip. I had a fiance' there once and a couple of times that I went it was on lockdown so I had to turn around. Good luck and God bless you!
