Hello All From Wisconsin, does anyone out there know about any new changes upcoming in the truth and sentencing laws?
my fiance is in a wisconsin prison serving 2 yrs for 5 dui"s
I know with truth and sentencing laws,that he and everone has to serve all the time before parole, i had heard that they were trying to change the classifications, as to the offence commited if it was a violent crime etc. makes no sence to me that there is no classifications to this law, just everyone no matter if there was injury or not. i don't understand this. should it not depend on the offence?????is it just me, because i think 2 yrs is a long time, and there is no violence,
no injuries....or do others feel this way????any news on this would be appreciated. thank you Merilee
