Part of a letter from Richard. He is fustrated he can't get his appeals typed up. He has been banned from the law library.
"It's not that I can lose here-I can't , and I have no computer/printer and I take such pride in my work that I want to hand them what meets thier standard. I put 26 afidavits in Denver -that I really don't think there was one spelling error in as I fixed them - I just didn't put it down until I checked the word. and I was on top so I felt great. I was happier, had lots of money, things that make me happy. I had and I take pride in what I do. So I was setting examples then in my work.
Well I am handwriting here I have no access to court not even an electric typewriter. All they have here for general population are those 100 year old manuals and I refuse , they punch holes in the paper on zeros etc. It is a mockery of justice for a very important ordeal................."
He goes on about how difficult it is to use symblos like subsection which I don't think I have on my computer. And foot notes...
Can you imagine a place not having electric typewriters? The highschool at my town just threw away 100's of them because they were "OUTDATED"
