I am just wondering how many people started using drugs because your boyfriend, husband, or significant other was using them in front of you and you wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I don't use drugs, my boyfriend however does and sometimes in front of me. I have set in my mind that I won't even try them, because I can see first hand what it can do to a person. But I'm just wondering how many of you succomed to them. I was wondering if you could tell me about that experience, if infact you did start using because of them. Were they pressuring you into trying them or was it on your own accord? Do you think you would have avoided them if it weren't for them using around you?

This in an interesting question. Of course, I shouldn't really be answering in this thread cuz I don't use, nor have I ever, but I can say that seeing what drugs have done to my boyfriends life would scare me away from them even if I WANTED to try them. But I can say that when I first tried alcohol, I only did because everyone else was using it and I wanted to see what it was like.
Ok, there's my two cents that you didn't even ask for! ;)
I am interested to hear everyones responses!

Okay, I Can See How A Person Woulld Want To Try Because Someone You Love Has, I Have Done Drugs But Not Because Of N E One Else Just Cause I Was Curious, However There Has Been Times That I Wanted To Do Other Things That My Ex Did Just So I Dont Know So I Could Feel What He Was Going Through Or Something, Cause I Wanted To Be That Much Closer To His Thoughts And Emotions, But In All Reality It Is Never Worth Doing Anything Just Because Someone Else Is,

I agree Moya, I think the beliefs and morals that a person goes into a relationship with,
albeit positive ones, they should maintain. And not be compromised, no matter what that other person says or tries to influence.
