Have any of you ever had experience with approving an interstate compact?

Basically, is there any way to speed it up? Will they expediate it under special circumstances?

Wayne asked me to find out, but I haven't found much.

I don't have any experience with it. Here in Maryland, the only way they take someone from out of state is if the inmates life is in danger.
