I know of one person who was not eligible for parole and she was released on her max out date.

Well his max out date is set-I was hoping someone in here was not eligible for parole but got out BEFORE their max date.
Thanks

Well maybe some others will come along.... this was just the case that I knew of to share that applied to the same situation of not being eligible for parole.
Hang in there sweetie!

Sorry One, I don't know of anything like that. Anything is possible with the GDC. Sometimes I just go to the website and look at different people. Sometimes I'll look up people with the same charge as my man and see what they got and how long they really served, see if they are eligible for parole. If you do have to wait 300 days, then you'll make it through 300 more days. I promise you can make it to The day! And if that hasn't happened in the whole history of the GDC then I pray that yours will be the first! Hang in there!

Jennifer,
SOmetimes I sit for hours looking at the DOC website also. J's crime only carries probation yet he sits in PRISON. THere are people in for serious crimes, the seven deadly with the same amount of time as he. He is not eligible for parole but others who committed much worse crimes are eligible. IT SUCKS! I had accepted that he wouldnt be out til late 05. But when I talked with that lady at the prison and she mentioned 65%---I drove home about 4 hours or so wishing for it. Even got the calculator out to figure up what 65% would be. The holidays have always been rough and with him gone its worse and I must have PMS.
Thanks to all who responded----you all are the greatest friends anyone could have.

I wouldn't always trust the DOC website. I have 3 other friends incarcerated in GA and 2 of them have wrong "crime commit" dates. One also says she isn't eligible but is up for parole in 5 months. There IS a person/people behind that website we're all looking at and we should ALL be the first ones to say that people make mistakes. I look at the site for insight but when it comes to straight out info, I don't bother.

My man's inmate description also says "N/A" for TPM, but he's also already been given a TPM.
