Hey Guys,

I'm a 23 year old guy who is waiting to go before the courts - possibly before the end of the year... I guess I'm a little apprehensive about the prospect of going to prison, even though my barrister thinks that is unlikely. It's a first time for me, and there's been an enormous amount of media attention every time I've been in court. Well, it seemed enormous to me, anyway. It's really hard on my family, but thankfully I have their support.

*sigh*

A friend sent me this website, and I signed up a while ago, but never got around to coming back.

It's cool that you have the support of your family- so although it's hard on all of you, you have one another to keep you strong.

Hi Dave welcome to PTO, I am glad that you are here. Good luck with your case, please let us all know how it goes. If your barrister thinks you wont be doing prison time, the chances are it wont happen, as a barrister wouldnt state that, if he wasnt feeling very confident on your case. They would normally state, unsure, so I pray that things work out well!!
