My fiance is at Old Folsom and has like many other inmates, made crafts and put them in the hobby shop for sale to the outside as well as selling them within the prison at the hobby shop inside.
Well, Charles just wrote me today and stated that they are taking away ALL the hobby tools so that they men can no longer do items for in the shops. This will effect them men greatly and I can already see that conflicts will arise within because of this. The guards that put this plan into action did so during lockdown and are working rapidly to get it pushed through. They state that they fear the inmates will use their hobby tools to harm other inmates. The hobby program has been up and running for 80 without even so much as 1 incident where a hobby tool was used. Please help these men!
Please! I urge everyone, right to the Director of CDC as well as they Warden and do so quickly so that we can prevent them from taking hobby from these guys.
