Does anyone know the reputation of this group? I found out about them on the internet. I called them and asked what steps I need to take in insuring Tim is released to Chicago area. They told me that I need to set up a release plan for him and also to request halfway house by getting together "a variety of factors" was how they worded it. They went on to say that it would cost me $2250.00 to do this and they recommend that it be done professionally in order to meet "certain criteria". I really want to set up everything for Tim in a good and for sure way, but my mind is telling me to ask you guys and gals first. I don't know but I am getting the feeling that it would be a waste of money compared to what can be done without them. But if you all say that they are real effective, then I just might go on and do this. Please tell me if I should or not. I certainly don't need to spend money I can avoid spending.

One thing you can do is check with the BBB and Chamber in there area, to see if there is a file on them.
Ask them for a list of people that they have done work for including phone numbers and see how they respond.
How long have they been in business and how many cases can they varify in doing and what was the outcome.
I would step back, if they expect you to plunk down that much money on blind faith or fast talk.
A track record, tells the story.
Pookie,
I am not suggesting that this organization is not on the up and up but... we have experienced some situations with members at PTO that were less than what was hoped for.
I would look around PTO for advice on setting up the home plan - many have done this before - and successfully.
B-Ray has also given good advice. I would look for references and be cautious of putting that much money down. No matter if they are reputable or not they will tell you that they have expertise that will make it better.
Do they offer a money back guarantee?

Thank you for your help. They do not offer a money-back guarantee. I was just curious about them, and I wanted to see if any PTO members dealt with them before. B-Ray, I will definitely do what you told me as far as checking on their past people they supposedly helped. I don't know if they can give out phone numbers of their past clients or not. And Teb, I know just what you mean about some PTO members falling into the wrong hands when it comes to paying for something they are not getting. But until I am sure about these folks, I aint putting down no coins.
