Yummy...Right before you leave add some french fried onions and hit the road!!! Always a hit, quick, and easy!!! mrsdragoness 11-23-2004, 08:14 PM something jello always works.... or brownies JJT 11-23-2004, 08:23 PM Quick and Easy Potluck Dish.... Cold: Salad in a sack from the local grocery store deli. Put it in a fancy bowl, dress it up with some sliced hard boiled eggs, freshly grated cheese and bacon bits. One of my favorite salad fixings is to take a Cesar Salad and mix it with a tortallini or corkscrew pasta salad. This you would serve on a platter... Put the green salad down, plop the pasta salad on top, throw on a couple of cherry tomatoes, and it's done!! Or a sandwhich tray. I love sandwhich trays. Tuna, ham and cheese, and deviled egg. It looks really neat if you mix up some wheat, white and sourdough breads, but all one kind of bread is okay. For a little extra touch, add finely chopped celery to the tuna, and sweet pickles to the deviled egg. Quick and Easy Hot Dish: Once again, I call on my trusty crock pot, fill it with little smokies (or ready made meatballs) and poor a bottle of bbq sauce on it. Heat and serve with toothpicks. But my favorite thing to take to a potluck.... something wonderful from the deli section at the grocery store!! Who has time to shop, prepare and transport??? JJT MrsBenji 11-23-2004, 08:31 PM Easy and simple. Get some of the frozen bread dough that is already shaped into rolls. Set them out to raise on a greased pan before bed. Get up early and bake them while you get ready and have a little bowl of butter to take. Fresh baked bread and no one needs to know that you used the frozen bread dough. When they asked how you made them, tell them with an oven. ;) Jenn JJT 11-23-2004, 08:58 PM ooohhh.... I like it!!! Fresh baked bread!!!
